This card was a long time in the making. There are so many criteria that can be included. We ran version after version by cardiologists to ensure we had the most important diagnoses and best criteria for them that we could fit in one card. On the front side there are major criteria for determining atrial and ventricular hypertrophy, axis deviation (as well as some causes), left and right bundle branch block as well as left anterior and left posterior fascicular block.
The back of the card has the well-known Brugada criteria (as well as others) for determining whether or not a wide complex tachycardia is V-tach or SVT with aberrancy. Meet ANY of the numerous criteria and it's V-tach, meet none of the criteria and you have a greater than 99% chance it is NOT V-tach. The back also includes the effect of electrolyte disturbances on the ECG, as well as a few tidbits that deal with criteria for MI mimics and ECG changes that can predict an anterior wall MI. (Benign early repolarization, pericarditis, and Wellen's syndrome),
An excellent reference to take while in a class (review or initial training), or to keep handy while interpreting the 12-lead ECG, or as a quick review or reference. Shipping included (Continental U.S. only, contact us for international shipping)!
